Yesterday was my 41st birthday and I celebrated by inviting my friends and neighbours over to a make-your-own pizza party. It was a great success and lots of fun.
Everyone was asked to come up with their own pizza idea and then to make it and share it with everyone. All pizzas had to have a name. We had some good names but my two favourites were The Renovation, a pizza that is never quite finished, and My Back Yard, so named because the ingredients were gathered in my friends own garden.
I also showed several films (actual films not videos) in my back yard, some gathered from the school board when they closed their collection, and some of my own that I made when I was younger.
After the films and the food everyone, kids and adults, ended up dancing in the living room to old disco songs. Lots of fun.
